MeterRoot,MeterTrack,MeterIndicator,MeterLabel,MeterValue - Convenience default export with
labelandshowValue - Brand-colored fill with reduced-motion-safe width transition
- Three track sizes (
sm,md,lg) - Base UI by default; Radix twin is a hand-rolled ARIA meter (Radix has no Meter)
States
Features
Labelled meters at different sizes with optional formatted values.
Quota
A pair of capacity gauges side by side in a stack.
Accessibility
ARIA Attributes
| Attribute | Element | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
role="meter" | Root | Identifies the element as a meter |
aria-valuenow | Root | Current value |
aria-valuemin / aria-valuemax | Root | Range of the meter |
aria-valuetext | Root | Human-readable value |
aria-labelledby | Root | Points at MeterLabel when present |
Provide either a visible label or an aria-label. Prefer Meter over Progress when the value is a snapshot of capacity, not a task completing.
Reduced Motion
When prefers-reduced-motion is set, the fill width updates without a transition.
Radix twin
Radix has no Meter primitive. The Radix twin implements the same SmoothUI props with native role="meter" semantics so both styles stay interchangeable.
